A few years of hard work can change a person’s life, says 22-year-old entrepreneur Shamal Khan Niazi, who believes staying focused on a goal can make a real difference over time.
Born in Mianwali and now based in Islamabad, Shamal started working in 2016. Since then, he has worked in freelancing and different business ventures, gaining experience along the way.
Things have not always gone smoothly. Shamal has faced financial setbacks and difficult decisions while building his career. He says these experiences taught him to be more careful with his choices and to keep working even when the results were not what he expected.
“I believe a few years of hard work can take you to the next level,” Shamal says. “You may not see the results straight away, but if you keep working and learning, you can look back after a few years and see how much has changed.”
Shamal started with freelancing before moving into other business activities. He has tried different ventures over the years and says each experience has taught him something about work and decision-making.
He is also active on TikTok under the username @shamalkhanniazi, where he shares content with his followers.
Travelling is another interest of his. In 2026, he visited Azerbaijan, Saudi Arabia and Malaysia.
Shamal says young people should not expect everything to happen quickly. He believes it is better to focus on the work in front of them and give themselves time to improve.
“You don’t have to change your life in a few months,” he says. “Keep working on what you want. A few years of serious effort can take you much further than you might expect.”
Now based in Islamabad, Shamal continues to work on his business interests and future plans. At 22, he says he still has more to learn, but believes the years he has already spent working have brought him closer to the goals he set for himself.
