In a major decision, Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM-P) has decided to expel Nadeem Nusrat and other London-based leaders of the party.

The decision was taken at meeting of MQM Pakistan held in Karachi on Tuesday evening.

According to insiders, MQM Pakistan has also decided to axe Wasay Jalil, Mustafa Azizabadi and Qasim Raza.

The move comes shortly after MQM-Pakistan spokesman said that it had nothing to do with the statements being issued by people in London.

The spokesman said that MQM-P had no connection with remarks of Nadeem Nusrat.

On Monday, MQM-P said that it was launching its own website soon and it had no connection with the old website since August 22 incidents.

MQM leaders in Karachi had disowned Altaf Hussain after his anti-Pakistani speech on August 22.
