A local court Saturday granted a five-day physical remand of Ghulam Rabbani, a resident of Karachi who confessed to have killed her mother.
The police produced the accused before the judicial magistrate South.
During the hearing, the accused told the magistrate that his wife and mother frequently had wrangles and that he stabbed her 70-year-old mother to death in a flare-up of anger.
On the request of Investigation Officer, the magistrate handed over the accused into police custody for five-day remand.
