The 17th bank robbery of the year occurred in the city on Thursday as dacoits looted millions of rupees from a branch of a private bank situated at Bahadurabad.
According to police, six dacoits entered the bank, looted the money and fled from the scene easily.
A security guard received bullet injuries while resisting to the dacoits.
The police registered the case and started investigation.
