More than Three security men were injured on Wednesday when a suicide bomber detonated his explosives after his accomplice shot dead in Ghalanai headquarter of Mohmand tribal region.
Security troops captured a suicide bomber at the main gate of Ghalanai headquarter of the Mohmand Agency, while his accomplice detonated his suicide vest injuring three security men, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), said in a statement.
The office of the political administration also damaged in the terrorist attack.
Security forces cordoned off the area after the attack and launched a search operation, the statement said.
“Security agencies had the intelligence about intrusion of suicide bombers from Afghanistan inside Mohmand agency,” the ISPR statement added.
