    President of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, has reiterated his commitment to serving the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir and addressing their grievances as soon as possible.

    He was addressing a meeting of the PML-N Parliamentary Party of Azad Jammu and Kashmir in Murree today.

    The President of PML-N said that the current situation in Azad Kashmir is the result of the poor performance of previous governments, as they had failed to meet the expectations and aspirations of the people.

    He said that the government's top priority is to promote development in Azad Kashmir along the same lines as in Punjab.

    He urged Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to provide funds for the development of Azad Kashmir.

    Nawaz Sharif said that the current government is making concerted efforts to make Pakistan economically self-reliant.

    Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz were also present on the occasion.
