Dananeer Mobeen has marked a wholesome new milestone by unveiling her very first crochet creation. Sharing the moment on Instagram, the Pawri Ho Rahi Hai star proudly displayed her handmade granny square a classic crochet pattern adored by craft lovers.
“I learnt how to make a granny square,” she wrote on her Instagram story, alongside a snapshot of the colourful piece.
Having already showcased her acting skills in television dramas, Dananeer is now stepping into the world of cinema.
Her upcoming film, Behnaz, is directed by Abu Aleeha — the filmmaker behind Kukri, Super Punjabi, and Taxali Gate.
Just last month, Abu Aleeha posted a joyful group photo celebrating the film’s wrap, featuring Ayesha Omer, Dananeer Mobeen, and the rest of the cast smiling brightly.
According to local media, Behnaz is a sports-themed movie set in Lyari, a Karachi neighbourhood famous for its football passion and rich cultural heritage.
The joy on the cast and crew’s faces reflects the hard work and passion poured into the project.
Captioning the photo, Abu Aleeha wrote: “The camera has closed on Behnaz, one of my most layered films.
If you enjoyed Taxali Gate even a little, this movie will blow you away.
“If you’re Baloch and from Lyari, this film will fill you with pride. A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this film possible. I’m deeply grateful for your support.”
